As you will probably know, York is renowned for its historical buildings and Middlethorpe Hall is one of them. Originally built in 1699 as a private manor house. Today Middlethorpe Hall is a luxury country hotel. Elegantly decorated, it looks just like you would expect a private manor house from the 18^th Century to look. Complete with a grand staircase, which is also perfect for some couple photos.

Middlethorpe Hall is set within 20 acres of award winning gardens, that have been fully restored to resemble that of an 18^th Century manor house. There are some wonderful locations and features, that are perfect for both your group photos and couples photos. Such as the lake at the far end of the grounds. There is also a lovely rose garden and a walled garden, which are located just behind the courtyard. Just to the side of the lake there is a large park area, which is perfect if you have children attending your wedding. There would be more than enough room to hire some garden games and let the kids burn off some of that excess energy.

There are a couple of rooms that are used for the wedding ceremony. So regardless of the size of your wedding party, Middlethorpe Hall can cater for all your needs. You can even hire the venue exclusively just for the day, or for the whole weekend if you wish. The staff there are brilliant too, they take very good care of all their guests and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. If all that wasn’t enough, there is also a spa located just opposite Middlethorpe Hall, which is perfect for some quiet relaxing time after your wedding day to nurse the hangover you may have.

Full day wedding photography starts from £995. This includes photography from arrival up to your first dance. You will receive your wedding photos on a personalised USB. I like to include 2 professional photographers with the full day package. There are upgrades available to include bridal and groom prep and also an album.
