What Happens on the Day

York Register Office weddings usually move quite quickly, so I keep the photography organised, calm and easy.

Before the ceremony I’ll capture arrivals, nerves, greetings and the little moments before you go in. If you want a few photographs before the ceremony, we can do that too.

During the ceremony I’ll photograph the key moments naturally, including the ceremony, reactions, vows, rings and signing, while staying as discreet as possible.

After the ceremony At York Register Office, we’ll usually do confetti, congratulations and family photographs in the gardens. I’ll help organise the group shots so they are quick, relaxed and don’t take over the day.

A few relaxed portraits, if you’d like couple portraits, we can keep them simple in the gardens or spend a little more time around York for extra variety.
